Founded in 2010 by the entrepreneur Mugur Frunzetti, Floria was designated for three years "The Best Online Flower Shop" in Romania, at the e-Commerce Awards Gala. Since 2010, Floria.ro is a Trusted.ro certified brand and in 2013 it became the first flower shop in Romania that creates bouquets and unique collections, following the international trends of fashion. Floria delivers flowers and bouquets worldwide and in over 140 cities in Romania, offers free shipping and delivery within 2 hours. Working with Floria was a real challenge for iAgency. Online flower sales are estimated at about 190 million euros annually, the industry is highly competitive and has been affected by many algorithm changes that have occurred over time. When Floria contacted iAgency, its goal was to fill the first position for the "online flower shop" keyword, to appear on the first page of searches for main keywords and to attract more organic traffic. Although the site was well positioned for "online flower shop", for the other main keywords it didn’t appear on the first page. Also, most of the backlinks had the anchor on the brand "Floria" and the percent of anchors that included the main keywords was insignificant. To increase organic traffic and to help the website to rank higher for other main keywords, we've concluded that we should implement a strategy for creating more comprehensive links, that include anchor texts for "money keywords". On-site Optimization Keywords - We conducted a study of relevant keywords for this domain. After being established, they were implemented on the website's pages to create an optimal density. Content creation – We created relevant content for the major product categories and the main cities the company delivers flowers to. Title and Meta Description – We optimized the website pages and we included the main keywords in the titles and meta descriptions, in order to gain a good CTR. Off-site Optimization The text anchors used on the vast majority were on the brand "Floria", which is why we decided to vary. There were also site wide links, that our team has suggested to remove.
